  • Book Launches for Paint in the Blood: The Jeff Morgan Journey…

    10th September 2024

It is exciting to see the culmination of more than two years of work, with my new book “Paint in the Blood – The Jeff Morgan Journey” being launched over three days at the end of September. Join us in Hawker (at 2.30pm at the Jeff Morgan Gallery) on Friday 27th, or at the Laura Courthouse Gallery at 2.30pm on Saturday 28th, or in Marion at the Vietnam Veterans Federation clubrooms at 2.30pm on Sunday 29th. The former Governor (The Hon. Hieu Van Le AC) wrote the Foreword to the book, and he will be speaking at each event.

  • Writing the life story of Jeff Morgan…

    18th February 2024

Well folks – I have nearly finished writing an amazing story – the life of Flinders Ranges artist, Jeff Morgan, who is internationally famous for his panorama paintings in Hawker, outback South Australia. The book will include colour images of some of Jeff’s beautiful artwork, so stay tuned for updates. The book launches will be on the last weekend of September 2024.

  • Grebes have been my 60 seconds of joy in lockdown…

    16th January 2022

For the last five months I’ve been posting daily pictures on facebook as a mating pair of Australasian Grebes has built floating nests, tended eggs and brought up a family of three chicks (I call them greeblings!) on our dam north of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. The cycle has gone full circle, as now another three chicks have hatched. This has truly been a joyous journey – and a good way to put my book, Time Poor Soul Rich, into practice!

  • Winddance is also available on Amazon and in Bookstores…

    1st October 2018

I am pleased to report that you can purchase both a paperback novel and an ebook via Amazon (particularly useful for non-Australians!); and Winddance is also available in bookstores such as Dymocks, Readings and Koorong.

  • Pre-publication orders are now open for Winddance…

    26th February 2018

I am very excited to finally be publishing my novel Winddance for “teenagers and young adults” (and “old adults” if my feedback is correct!) – which I actually first wrote over 20 years ago! Copies will be available in late April, but if you would like to get in early and buy a copy – you can now do so through this website. Select the option with postage unless you think you’ll be catching up with me, in which case scroll down to the option without postage. If you are overseas, it’s best to wait for the upload to Amazon which will be coming soon.
